FAQ

  • Can the Hybrid Knee actually help with pain, swelling, or recovery?

It uses real cold and heat, cycling between the two to trigger the same blood flow response used in contrast therapy. Cold calms inflammation and eases soreness. Heat loosens things up and gets blood moving before you train.

  • How do I know it's positioned right?

There's a white Kneecap Guide printed right on the device. Line it up with your kneecap, wrap the straps around, and you're set. Two strap sizes come in the box (small and large) so it fits a range of leg sizes.

Note: Wrong positioning will affect the cold and heat effect.

  • How hot or cold does it actually get?

Cold mode reaches true sub-zero, down to -10°C, colder than ice packs or most recovery wraps on the market. Heat mode has three intensity levels, low, medium, and high. Press the power button while in hot or contrast mode to step through them, shown by how many LEDs light up.

  • Can I wash the straps?

Yes. The straps can be washed and let dry before use.

  • Can I bring it on a plane?

Yes. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery, well under the 100Wh limit airlines and the ICAO allow for carry on lithium devices. Power it off if you're checking it in. Worth double checking your specific airline's policy before you fly, just in case.

  • How long can I use it in one sitting?

Keep it to 20 minutes max on the same spot per session. That's a safety limit, not a battery one. Your battery will actually outlast that on cold mode, and outlast it by a lot on hot or contrast.

  • How do I take care of it?

Wipe it down with a damp cloth after use. It's not waterproof, so don't submerge it or run it under a tap. Keep it somewhere dry when you're not using it, and don't yank on the straps, they're not built for that.

  • What if something goes wrong with it?

Every Hybrid device comes with a 1-year limited warranty. If it's defective or arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace it at no cost. Reach out to our support team and we'll take it from there.
